As part of moving into the future, ARC is also announcing public RA Profile Pages and our new RA Directory!
You can now search for RAs by scrolling through the directory, clicking on the letter that corresponds with the first letter in the RA’s last name, or by using the keyword search.
The keyword search will pull up any matching word found in the RA Profiles. You can search by typing in a first name, last name, country, state (type out the state’s full name, not abbreviation), specialty, etc.
The database will continue to populate and more RA Profile Pages will be available as Registered Aromatherapists access and update their new online ARC accounts.
Check out our new database design at the following link:

*ATTENTION RAs*
- Every current RA with their own unique email address on file with us, already has an account, DO NOT CREATE A NEW ONE. Learn more about logging into your new ARC account in our previous blog post at the following link:
https://aromatherapycouncil.org/announcing-new-online-arc-accounts/
- To create your new Public RA Profile page, after logging into your ARC account, you must first update and save your private information by clicking or tapping on the Private Info toggle to open it, then click or tap on “Click Here to fill out or edit your contact info for ARC’s business purposes.” You must click on save even if you do not change any of your information. Then you can click or tap on the Public Info toggle to open it and read the instructions. When you are ready to fill out your public info, click or tap on “Click Here to begin your Public Profile.” Enter the information you desire to be public, read and consent to the terms and conditions for the use of your business information, and remember to save!
*Current RAs that signed up to take the ARC exam prior to September 1, 2024, must first update and save your Private Info before filling out and saving the Public Info, for the system to be able to create your RA Profile page. If both of these are not updated in your account, and you do not give consent for your public information to be shared, you will not be added to the new public RA directory.
You may want to have these things handy before you begin:
- A photo for your profile: at least 400px wide and preferably square. This may be a photo of you, your business logo, or something to do with aromatherapy (as long as you own the photo). Profiles without photos are often disregarded and photos with the real person are seen as more trustworthy, according to recent marketing studies.
- Your company name, if you have one.
- The email you’d like people to contact you through for your aromatherapy practice.
- Links to social media you’d like to link to: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X/Twitter (or any combination of these). If enough people have another social media site, we will consider adding more options.
- A well-written bio and a short welcoming greeting for your bio (approximately 150 words for the bio and keep your greeting to 3 or 4 words). An example is shown under the bio area so that you can see how the greeting and bio will be displayed.
- Website and social media URLs should be entered as: https://example.com (you can get these by copying the web address in the address bar on your browser or choosing to “share” your profile and choosing “copy link” from within most of the social media apps).
The more you fill in, the better your profile appears to someone searching for a reputable Registered Aromatherapist, but you can go back and add to your public information at any time. Again, please remember that in order for your RA Profile page to be viewable to the public and for you to be added to the public RA Directory, you must be sure to at least give consent by checking the “Yes! Add my business info to the Directory Profile in the ARC Website” box under “Platforms Where Business Info Can Be Shared” and click on save.
Please email us at gro.licnuocyparehtamora@ofni if you have any issues or questions.
