The Aromatherapy Registration Council (ARC) is a national, non-profit professional organization with the mission to promote the highest standards of public safety in aromatherapy through its national exam for candidates to earn the Registered Aromatherapist (RA) designation and to promote the development of the aromatherapy industry as a whole.
The ARC Board is seeking passionate aromatherapists to expand its membership and support ARC’s mission.
As an ARC Board member, there are openings to serve in the following officer positions as appointed by the Board on an annual basis:
- Chairperson
- Secretary
- Treasurer
If you have experience in one of the following areas, we’d love to hear from you:
- Financial management (Bank account oversight, general knowledge of financial statements, maintaining revenue and expense accounts)
- Experience in managing a Not For Profit 501(c)(3) Organization and reporting requirements
- Aromatherapy practice experience – personal health and clinical experience considered
- Aromatherapy education experience – knowledgeable about education standards, item reviews, and effective multiple-choice development experience preferred
- Collaboration across the industry including ties to aromatherapy professional organizations
- Aromatherapy training – a minimum of 200 hours; RAs and members of AIA and NAHA preferred
